What do you wish to experience?

I wish to experience healing... for myself, and my husband.

My biopsy last week came back worse than the doctor anticipated, and he wants to do surgery to "excise the lesion."  But I don't want him to do it ~ he thinks I deserved this cancer because I've been married more than once.  I also want to be with my husband when it is done, so I'm going to wait until I get to Florida.

So I'm wishing [praying] for healing... that the growth stops... and that when I get to Florida, the [nicer] doctors I know will find that it won't require surgery.  I'm wishing [praying] for my husband's health... and that we can be together soon so that everything will be right in the world with us.  I miss him... and being apart right now is just adding stress to our lives and impacting the health of both of us.

Healing hearts...

  1. Hi dearest Cindi,
I sincerely hope the universe will hear your wish and soon, you'll feel better. In the meantime, I'll keep you in my heart and prayers, like a lot of your faithful readers.
Hope you get reunited with your husband soon, so you can fight this head on together. As you wish for yourself, I wish for you too.

    1. Thank you, Lindsay. Wish I could claim credit for the artwork, but I found it on weheartit.com and the linkback was broken. It is beautiful tho.

  4. That's a serious wish there. I have never dealt with cancer, but I know how hard it can be to spend a lot of time separated from your love. I will add you and your husband to the healing candle I light each night.
As you wish for yourself (and your husband), so I wish for the both of you as well.

    1. Thank you, Sunfire. Being apart just adds to our worries... and it was probably worries and stress that brought all of this about.

  6. What kind of quack doctor would say such a thing? Grrrr! I believe in positive thinking and never ever giving up no matter what. You have that same spirit! As you wish for yourself, Cindi, I wish for you as well.

    1. Beth ~ he was the Section Chief of Gynecologic Oncology and a Professor. I hope that his students have a different professor when it comes time to learn bedside manners. I'm filing a complaint with the hospital for his comments and attitude. During the exam he asked if I could "listen down there" which confused me. Unless he saw ears growing out of my vagina, I could hear him just fine with the ones on my head. He's lucky I didn't have teeth down there... I wanted to snap his fingers off for his comments.
Oh... did I say that out loud? ;p
      Thank you for the wishes!

  8. Cindi,
What can I say? Hang the doctor up by his "you know what?" If you had the energy, I would encourage you to report this doctor...what a violation of the oath he took. But, I know you need to concentrate your energy on your move to Florida and your healing after the procedure.
As you wish for yourself, I wish for you also.

  10. Cindi, I am so sorry that you are going through all of this. As you've wished for healing...I wholeheartedly wish it for you. That doctor sounds like he needed a nice kick to the head when he was "down there". What a callous jerk. Sending healing thoughts and hugs your way.
