selections #124

[Disclaimer:  I promise that these are the last of the water lily pictures ~ but I was able to get to them early enough in the morning when they were still in open bloom and could not resist!  I have taken the liberty to filter them with a dry brush effect, as I did the last ones, and love how they came out.]

Sunday Selections [as it is Sunday in Australia when this meme starts] was originally brought to us by Kim of Frogpondsrock as an ongoing meme where participants could post previously unused photos languishing in their files.

The meme is now continued by River at Drifting through life. The rules are so simple as to be almost non-existent. Post some photos under the title Sunday Selections and link back to River.

As a teaser for an upcoming Selections collection ... I offer you [this link].
BUT ... my desktop computer is dying and I cannot download pictures from my SD cards anymore!
I'm not sure when I will participate next in the Sunday [in Australia] Selections.

Anticipation ... makes it all the sweeter!

  1. I love the water lilies, and wouldn't tire of them in a hurry (if at all). I followed the link and am looking forward to that post. I hope that your computer regains its health.

    1. It will be a toss up to see if it is less expensive to fix and replace the drive or just to buy one of the new Chromebook laptops. I hope to find out on Monday what my options are. The computer was a hand-me-down anyway, so I have been blessed with it for the past year and am grateful.

  2. love the water lilies - so beautiful, and fascinating the way they grow! my next computer will be a chromebook, i think. just not yet, i hope!

    1. Thank you! I've kept hoping to see a frog, turtle, or even a gator peeking out from under them (or sitting on top as in the case of a frog) but haven't seen any yet. And I'm leaning more towards getting the Chromebook. I think that trying to fix my dino-desktop just won't be practical.

Thank you for reading my escaped words! I would love to hear from you, but all comments are moderated since I am not paid to advertise for sewers in Riyadh, Dubai, Saudi Arabia.
